Reporting Analyst, Digital Media As a Reporting Analyst, you will work with our broader Analytics team and business users across the entire organization. You will fulfill ad-hoc data requests & reporting requests, support the business with reporting related inquiries, research data anomalies, and provide end-user training and support. Your deliverables will include scalable, high quality reports, and dashboards that utilize the capabilities of our BI platform and employ best practices in design and data visualization. You are highly analytical and resourceful, and able to use creative problem-solving skills to move quickly from design to implementation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as first line of support for end users, providing guidance on BI tools and the data contained within them • Conduct exploratory analysis of available data sets, and design, develop and test complex queries to fulfill ad hoc data requests • Investigate any potential data errors and work with the broader team to ensure corrective measures are taken • Design, develop, and ad hoc and ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to build awareness of key opportunities and risks and inform better business decisions • Apply current data visualization techniques and creative formats to effectively engage users and clearly communicate key insights • Create and maintain technical and user documentation; conduct training sessions and provide user support for reporting products • Develop and execute quality assurance test plans, and manage UAT process and feedback loop QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree with focus on data and analysis • Familiarity with basic design principles as they relate to Data Visualization and User Interaction • 2 years with data analysis and developing reporting and dashboard solutions within Tableau (preferred), Power BI, Qlikview, or other similar software. • Intermediate knowledge of SQL for data source creation, ad hoc analysis, and testing/validation • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate and present technical information to non-technical audiences • Consistent record defining and executing key analysis and troubleshooting with minimal supervision • Understanding and experience working with relational and dimensional datasets, data warehouses, and data mining • Background in online advertising, e-commerce, web analytics, business measurement or comparable reporting and analytics function
