IBM is seeking an exceptional Paid Media Operations Professional to join its Marketing and Communications team.
Reporting to Corporate Marketing Operations as an extension of the Corporate Paid Media team, this person will have the responsibility for the implementation and governance of processes and procedures across the marketing organization. In this role, you will help to ensure the paid media operating foundation including systems, processes and tools is designed in such a way as to effectively protect IBM’s brand and optimize our investment, be audit-ready, and comply with the law, IBM Corporate Instructions and other key policies. In order to achieve this, this role works in close collaboration with Consolidated Advertising, Legal, Procurement, Finance, Business Controls, and the other CHQ Paid Media teams, as well as agency teams. The Paid Media Governance Lead is responsible for both day-to-day/on-going operational activities, as well as identification of opportunities to improve current systems and to create systems where they do not exist.
Ensure IBM and industry policy is understood, implemented, and maintained within the marketing and communications organization.
Support marketing communications content updates, ensuring that IBM marketers are equipped with the latest materials.
Active communication with agency counterparts on media process and guidelines.
Provide operational support to cross-functional systems including but not limited to contract negotiations, credit management, and billing.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
Comprehensive understanding of how to work and communicate with many cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Technically capable and eager to offer new ideas to improve processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced geographically dispersed team to drive deliverables and outcomes
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
4 Years industry experience
2 Years paid media/advertising experience
Previous experience in a marketing and/or operations role
Proven experience and success in project management
General knowledge of paid media/advertising and related processes
