Now, we are looking for employees to raise the bar on what's possible for our customers. The Monogram Senior Area Sales Manager (ASM) will drive change in how GE Appliances approaches the luxury appliance segment by focusing only on Monogram resellers and potential resellers. This ASM will co-develop selling strategies with field Retail and Contract ASMs in growing the brand. This position is for the Tri-State area (Fairfield County, CT, Westchester, Nassau, New York and Suffolk County, NY, and Bergen and Somerset County, NJ). The ASM will be expected to live in this territory. What you will Do ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities will include Sales training Event planning Installation training Partnering with the local Monogram Design Engagement Leader (DEL) Developing the inside salesperson at the satellite Monogram Design Center Conducting CEU certification courses Manage the HEI budget for the region, holding field ASMs and customers accountable Monitor compliance of in-store branding, field marketing presence and customer displays Performance will be measured on sales growth, driving incremental floor space, developing a field marketing program and overall customer engagement. Relocation Provided: Yes What you need to Succeed REQUIRED & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience Experience in developing, organizing, and implementing sales plans Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, management and peers to drive results Superior communication, presentation, organizational and negotiation skills Proven record of being a self-starter, working proactively and independently, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability and willingness to travel extensively (over 50%) within the Northeast Region and on occasion to the Monogram Experience Center (Louisville) and Monogram Design Center (Chicago) Ability and willingness to work occasional weekend hours based on customer needs Ability and willingness to comply to business dress code Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications Previous GE Appliances sales experience Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques GE Appliances is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
