Job summary:The Manager Digital Marketing Analytics will play an integral role in helping Newell Brands achieve its goal of driving sustainable growth online through the best-in-class use of data and analytics. This team member will drive and execute upon the overarching strategy for the Ecommerce team to enhance the consumer experience on Amazon.com, Retail.com, and Pure Play sites. The successful candidate will leverage strong relationships across many functions including, but not limited to: eMarketing, ePlanning, Sales, and Finance in order to facilitate understanding and optimization of our Ecommerce business. (S)he must be a self-starter, a team player, and most of all be curious… looking for all opportunities to drive brand awareness and online sales.
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with eMarketing team to identify business objectives, define and implement appropriate strategies to achieve goals.
Identify and track KPI’s, based on stated objectives for marketing campaigns. Provide actionable insights and socialize findings.
Analyze paid marketing programs and campaigns in order to optimize traffic, conversion, search, sales and ROAS, based on stated goals.
Continually evaluate new systems and tools to simplify and automate workflows.
Key Interfaces: eMarketing, ePlanning, Direct to Consumer, Sales, & Finance. (Role will also regularly interface with our third-party vendors.) ','!*!The successful candidate will be a proven business leader with experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. They must be a strong communicator and have a sharp analytical approach. They must have both strong strategic capabilities and be hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution.
Previous analytics leadership experience and technical qualifications:
4 year experience deriving insights and optimizing investment in Digital Advertising platforms. Paid Search vehicles (Google AdWords, Bing Ads, etc.) Paid Social (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat) Email, Retargeting, and Affiliate marketing vehicles Customer-specific Marketing vehicles a plus
Experience working with and for Retail/CPG businesses.
Proven experience with SQL. Advanced skills with all Microsoft Office Software for the creation of management reports, presentations, and analysis.
Experience with any Business Intelligence & reporting tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau
Strong understanding of retail analytics and financial processes (forecasting, budgeting, ROI analysis, etc.).
Proven skill blending diverse data from different platforms, formats and environments.
Conceptual thinker with proven analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to see the big picture.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) – ability to turn data and analytics into actionable insights through communication.
Managerial experience a plus
