BASIC PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to support Love's customer and brand strategy efforts, including acting as the primary copy writer for Love's customer communication, developing a clear & unique brand voice that is appropriate to the customer and channel, and maintaining brand integrity across our private label portfolio.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Develop & disseminate customer-segment specific communication styles & copy writing standards, in collaboration with internal customer specialists, for Love's digital customer communication *Partner with Category Management and Marketing Operations teams to support the expansion of Love's private label portfolio; develop Private Label strategy for brand naming, imagery, and category selection *Write copy for communication elements that align with that specific segment. Campaign types include, but are not limited to, loyalty, sales, customer acquisition, customer retention, and engagement campaigns for professional & casual drivers. *Partner with Loyalty Marketing and Salesforce Marketing Cloud teams to support the design and execution of email, SMS text, mobile app push, and other digital customer communications *Monitor brand health for Love's private label products and provide insights to Category Management & Marketing teams *Collaborate with Marketing & Operations team to ensure brand consistency for Love's RV Hookups and RV Stop *Work with SFMC Product Specialist & Design teams to align graphics with campaign copy *Participate in campaign design, planning, development, execution, and analysis. *Assist in developing and executing proprietary customer and market research including surveys and other research initiatives. *Assist in writing any necessary training materials in conjunction with the training department as needed. *Perform other duties as needed to support the marketing department and the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

*Education:

*Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, advertising, public relations or equivalent.

*Experience:

*Minimum of 1 year experience in brand management, copywriting, marketing coordination, customer-facing communications, desired

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

*Skills:

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) *Strong verbal and oral communication skills, excellent writing skills, familiarity with standard writing style books (AP), familiarity with using brand style guides, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, and flexibility. *Keen focus towards customer experience & brand management, must have confidence to push back when you disagree on an insight or direction of a project in a respectful and constructive way. *Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple/competing projects. *Integrity to present the truth in an appropriate & helpful manner, ability to successfully work cross-functionally *Drive for results with a can-do attitude; pushes self and others to achieve bottom line results.

*Typical Physical Demands:

*Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. *Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. *Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. *Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
