The VP of Sales and Marketing is responsible for managing all brands, distribution channels, and deployment of sales for TAW. They are responsible for developing the strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth for the organization. Responsibilities include business and marketing development, customer management, management of market research, strategic direction for promotion and advertising, sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities.
Supervises the staff which involves direct and indirect responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, performance appraisal, managing policies and procedures to ensure achievement of the department’s goals.
Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions.
Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
Review community sales and marketing budgets and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
Responsible for establishing sales goals and strategies for the sales team. Oversee the team’s overall performance against sales quota.
Develops annual marketing and communication action plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
Directs implementation and execution of marketing and sales policies and procedures.
Ensures marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements and sales targets.
Reviews and recommends pricing structures based on market research and competitor’s analysis.
Provides leadership and support for the design, development and implementation of marketing plans.
Oversees and directs market research and competitor analysis to support communities and organizational budget process.
Develops, defines, extends, and maintains the brand of the organization and individual communities.
Ensures each community has a suitable market position based on demographic, geographic, and competitive factors.
Develop and implement annual sales plan by community in support of organizational strategy and objectives.Other duties, as assigned
Education, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Sales or other related field
Demonstrated experience in creating successful marketing initiatives
Ability to implement marketing strategies from the ground up
Ability to build consensus amongst senior leadership
Ability to work with sales team to identify target audiences and opportunities
Excellent communication, writing and decision making skills
Experience with online marketing, website development and social media strategies
Strong problem-solving skills, prioritization/time-management and analytical abilities
