The Adtech Alliance Manager is a key member of the Advertising Performance team within Experience Management. The successful candidate will represent the group with critical advertising technology and media partnerships and will work closely with firm leadership to successfully execute media and Adtech alliance and ecosystem relationships to support complex business growth initiatives.
Work You'll Do
Alliance Senior Managers have a breadth of responsibilities which are prioritized within the Alliance Leadership team. Those activities include:
Relationship Management -
Serve as the secondary and/or primary business development contact with our advertising ecosystem alliances, and industry organizations with responsibility for discussing business objectives, negotiating agreements, GTM activities and managing key performance metrics across our ecosystem of advertising partnerships and alliances.
Gain external and internal support to launch new advertising alliance activity, products or services through detailed assessment of benefits and risks. Develop business cases to size and support potential strategic partnership and technology opportunities
Work with firm innovation groups and business unit leadership across the firm to establish key performance metrics and reports for business objectives; provide regular updates to executive stakeholders on licensing and ecosystem portfolio and market activities
Manage ongoing relationships with advertising ecosystem partners ensuring continued expansion and development of business opportunities
Establish, manage, and support a meeting cadence to foster strong executive relationships between Deloitte and alliances partners..
Alliances Operations - Act as the Chief Operating Officer of the alliance:
Maintain the strategic alliance plan, coordinating with your Deloitte Lead Alliance Partner, other alliance managers on your team and practice leadership, to keep an up-to-date view of the business plan highlighting GTM approach, top priorities, our capabilities and financial goals for the alliance.
Understand and articulate the full impact of your alliance on Deloitte's business, including sell-with, sell-to, resell and buy-from metrics.
Manage the alliance budget specific to your alliance.
Coordinate with your Alliance Portfolio Leader and E&A Network Leader to track and drive sector-based GTM plans.
Act as an information clearinghouse as it relates to your alliance.
Establish and maintain clear and consistent alliance reporting.
Participate in global coordination as required.
Collaborate closely with alliance leadership on consultant enablement and pursuit support.
Ensure that training requirements are met.
Coordinate with Community of Practice (CoP) lead to ensure that the community is active and relevant.
Support key practice meetings and ensure that they are scheduled and occur on a regular basis.
Deliver Firm Competencies - Demonstrate ability to identify new Alliance solutions and drive strategy to map to Deloitte's businesses and signature issues. Drive conversations around ecosystem development activities that include your alliance.
Pipeline Tracking, Validation & Reporting - Work with Deloitte Sales Executives to maintain an accurate joint sales pipeline for your alliance. Own and drive all aspects of operational reporting including wins, pipeline, quals, awards and any other metrics important to the alliance and key stakeholders. Prioritize and elevate visibility to key/must win deals with your alliance.
Practice Communications & Knowledge Management - Manage all aspects of alliance communications, in close collaboration with your counterparts at your alliance, where appropriate. Ensure that key wins are recorded, tracked and communicated to the field. Identify new opportunities for training Deloitte staff and maintain AllianceSource as the central repository for all alliance related information.
Marketing Coordination - Work closely with Alliance Marketing team to create a marketing plan that supports your alliance business objectives. Provide support and oversight to marketing campaign and event execution. Coordinate with colleagues to ensure collateral is up-to-date.
Team Leadership - Where appropriate, lead a team of alliance managers and/or PMO's to efficiently and effectively deliver against the strategic priorities of the alliance. Lead discussions in QBR's and Annual Alliance Business Planning/Reviews.

Deloitte Consulting Alliances Team is made up of professional alliance managers, alliance marketers and technical architects who understand the principles that drive successful alliance relationships. Together, they enable differentiated, innovative go-to-market solutions between our practice and alliance partners that bring quantified value to our clients and incremental revenue to the firm.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree, advanced degree a plus
12 years professional experience with 5 years focused on alliance management or equivalent experience working with vendors
Proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies, including senior level executives, consulting resources, technical teams, and sales representatives
The ideal candidate will be an experienced business development, adtech and digital advertising partnerships manager who has a passion for structuring new data, content, technology and ecosystem and alliance agreements that drive innovation as well as monetization
The successful candidate must have a strong desire to be working with the fastest growing businesses within the firm, and an understanding of information services, software, content, data/analytics platforms, adtech, marketing analytics, data driven digital advertisings solutions, and advertising and data sharing clean rooms
A successful candidate will have a strong grasp of content/data product and professional services convergence to create compelling solutions, as well as an excellent understanding of information/content/technology companies and their strategic goals
Understand the competitive landscape of adtech and digital advertising
Ability to understand and translate technical information into business and sales opportunities
Ability to understand and articulate value proposition for alliance products
Ability to foster and drive relationships across the extended lines of business within alliances
Strong network across extended business lines within Facebook/Meta, Google Marketing Platform (GMP), AWS Ads, etc
Experience working in or with System Integrators, such as Deloitte
Skills:

Ability to think strategically, while staying focused on monitoring the progress of action items and bringing them to conclusion within appropriate time frames.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $161,000-$294,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
