POSITION PROFILE:
Reporting to KnollTextiles Marketing Director, duties include planning, managing, and overseeing all aspects of the business's digital marketing efforts/campaigns to effectively promote all products, collection launches, and initiatives. The Digital Marketing Associate will lead campaigns from the idea stage through their execution and implementation. Responsibilities include content strategy and development, interpreting analytics and reporting for web, email, SEO/SEM, social, and display advertising. The ideal applicant is self-directed and enjoys hands-on work, a good problem solver and communicator, intellectually curious, ready to take on challenges, and excited to work in a dynamic environment.
Position based in NYC.
Role Responsibilities:
Own KnollTextiles’ digital marketing activities
Think outside the box to create inspiring, meaningful, and effective content that drives brand recognition and revenue growth.
Work and communicate effectively with other department heads and colleagues at all levels to develop marketing goals and evaluate results.
Manage deadlines for all web, digital, email and social media activities.
Monitor competitors’ digital activities.
Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
Stay current with industry advancements.
Website
Establish strategies to improve overall usability and aesthetics of website.
Develop engaging web content.
Own relationship and coordinate all activities with rendering company.
Manage price lists, resource documents on website.
Organize photography assets for online database.
Make data driven recommendations based on analytics.
Understand website metrics and best practices.
Social Media
Build and increase awareness through social media strategy and content - execute across channels.
Engage daily with followers, Knoll brands, monitor tagged content, comments.
Research and get approvals for user-generated content.
Report on effectiveness of content and overall engagement for each channel while making recommendations for improvements.
Email/SEO/Advertising
Establish KPIs.
Create engaging email content for launches and 2x/month.
Coordinate with digital group for scheduling.
Monitor and evaluate online media campaigns to keep them fresh and effective.
Own relationship with digital Agency
Manage SEO with web team.
Required Skills
Ability to understand and create content that drives the KnollTextiles brand.
Work autonomously and own projects from beginning to end.
Be highly motivated, structured and detail oriented with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.
Ability to thrive in fast paced and dynamic environment.
Must work successfully across the organization with several business units.
Ability to give and receive critique graciously.
Experience with SEO, lead generation and email marketing for both B2B and B2C desirable.
Well-versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool.
Strong writing and visual skills.
3-5 years relevant experience in digital marketing and advertising.
Photoshop required. Adobe Suite desirable.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or related field required.
