We are looking for a junior media buyer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing paid acquisition, data analytics and making data driven suggestions to improve client quality and reduce unnecessary losses of client revenue within the post-secondary education market. Daily execution of viral advertising campaigns where millions of people will see your work. The ideal candidate is: Creative: Ability to generate new out of the box ideas. Analytical: Ability to analyze key metrics to optimize campaigns and reduce cost per user. Adaptable: Capable of adjusting to changing priorities, sometimes daily. Resourceful: Great at solving unstructured problems with little to no supervision in a fast-paced, high stakes environment. Team Player: Demonstrates a strong ability to contribute to the business along with business unit team members and managers; establish collaborative relationships with peers. Skills such as using analytics tools, task management, and strong verbal & written communication skills are necessary to excel in this position. This individual will have an understanding in digital marketing or an innate curiosity about how things work and are always eager to learn and have a great positive attitude. He or she will be a participant in all aspects of executing high profile and complex paid media campaigns on networks like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Google, Yahoo, Taboola, Outbrain, etc. This includes implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis, and reporting of campaigns around the clock past the regular 9 to 5 hours. Your campaigns will be active 24 hours a day and you will be required to work past the regular 9 to 5 hours. Responsibilities: Ideate, create, and test paid media campaigns to acquire new leads and customers Continuously iterate campaigns, ad groups, creatives, and landing pages to improve conversion rates & lower the Cost Per Acquisition Analyze performance data and provide intelligent synthesis, interpretation, and appropriate action plans based on conclusions Thoroughly understand clients business, goals, and KPIs Communicate with the team lead on all elements of the campaign, including performance, project status, and client goals. Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in social media and paid social media (betas,network updates, innovation opportunities, etc.) Develop, document, and implement best practices to drive efficiency Support day-to-day marketing activities, including marketing reports, data analysis, and project coordination Collaborate with all members of the team to reach campaign CPA, CPL and KPI and ROI goals Design dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings across all levels of paid media and to provide data access Proactively build and optimize purchased media through A/B testing, landing page optimization, and targeting. Write ad copy and design creatives Drive landing page design and experimentation Work directly with our Director of Marketing to define and plan future marketing efforts Qualifications: BA/BS degree required MUST be able to perform pivot tables and vlookups within excel Strong skill set in data analysis and mathematics with deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel Internet Savvy Basic copywriting skills a plus Working knowledge of Photoshop and Video Editing software a big plus Strong problem solving skills Working knowledge of HTML/CSS a big plus Business sense/knowledge and experience is must Meticulous and detail-oriented Team player who works well under pressure Possess a W.I.N.
