Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Hotel Ads (HA) Account Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients, which means you are a proactive self-starter, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will support and grow new business with Google’s top advertisers on an emerging Google platform. You'll manage business relationships to ensure that our clients' needs and requirements are met. This will require you to serve as their advocate within Google while collaborating with other Google teams to provide them with comprehensive platform support, growth ideas and options. This is a client-facing business role requiring proven business ability and a proven track record for growing the adoption and use of an emerging platform.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build strong businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with a team to drive growth with existing accounts; take responsibility for the management of clients.

Ensure all partners in our portfolio are following Google best practices in setting up and managing their customers' accounts.

Serve as a liaison to clients regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities, while ensuring that clients are satisfied with their business growth.

Develop forward thinking, data-driven analysis and recommendations that align with client goals and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to pitch to clients.

Manage operations within the Sales team, aligning workflow among team members to execute complex initiatives and ensure accountability to team goals.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

3 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media with experience in the travel industry.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience using spreadsheets and dashboarding products to analyze marketing data and come up with data-informed recommendations.

Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns with AdWords or a similar product.

Track record of exceeding sales quotas, and success in optimizing products and services based on client needs.

Ability to troubleshoot potential issues and articulate problems with internal groups; demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally.

Ability to multi-task across multiple projects, sales leads and internal stakeholders.

Excellent organizational, analytical, influencing skills and written and verbal communication skills.
