The Team
The Creative Marketing team is responsible for the activation of strategically led creative concepts, editorial content and innovative digital solutions to support marketing and communications for PVH brands across Europe and International markets.
As creative guardians, we’re responsible for elevating and reflecting core brand values across every touch-point, adopting and maintaining an Omni-channel approach to everything we do.
Digital marketing and e-commerce are an integral part of our daily work; this includes online retail, editorial-style content, brand experiences, media and advertising, email marketing, CRM and third party e-commerce, along with bringing immersive, digital experiences to life in ‘brick and mortar’ retail and showroom environments, embracing pioneering and innovative initiatives.
The Position
As a member of the Creative Marketing team, the Copywriter is responsible for maintaining and adapting the brand’s tone of voice through all assigned projects, contributing to a cohesive message across all communications. You’re the critical connection between what the brand wants to say and what the consumer wants to hear.
Key Responsibilities:
You will support and report into the Content Editor, while working closely with other creatives – and the wider Marketing and Communications department – to concept and roll out multi-channel marketing campaigns, to ensure on-brand messaging, to the right consumer, at the right time.
As a brand guardian, you’ll uphold the seasonal campaign direction, set by Calvin Klein New York (HQ), through all marketing activities.
You’ll develop a deep understanding of our brand goals and vision, as well as a thorough overview of the competitive landscape.
Digital marketing is an integral part of our daily work. You’ll bring a strong editorial sensibility to the nuts and bolts of online retail and an understanding of how the marriage of content and commerce applies to all channels, including paid social media.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative approach, you’ll eloquently ideate creative ideas, navigate through a complex approval process, and remain open to others’ ideas. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, sharing knowledge and best practices, and you’ll strive to continually improve.
You’ll be an advocate for the in-house Creative Agency team, building relationships across the wider business and work well with different personalities including partnering with the Senior Art Director and presenting to stakeholders within the business.
You’ll be adept at balancing, making sure creative goals and business needs are met, being respectful of budgets and meeting the almighty deadline.
The Ideal Candidate:
We need the best quality work on time and on budget. You think in solutions, not in problems. You have a detailed eye with a creative flair to proactively offer innovative (but workable) solutions. You’ll combine your creativity with competency, accuracy and a faultless attention to detail.
You’re expected to work responsibly, be capable of juggling priorities and managing your time to achieve a balance of creativity and quality, whilst respecting timings. Together with the Content Editor, you will be the go-to person for anyone in the team for any copy questions.
An articulate understanding of the fundamentals of the English language are compulsory.
You have a minimum of four years’ experience, working in a conceptual copywriting role within and advertising or marketing agency.
You’ll also need solid experience in a fast-paced, high-traffic, creative or E-commerce studio, preferably working on fashion clients.
Just as important will be the personal qualities you bring to the role: confidence, motivation, credibility, strong communication, collaboration, with the ability to adapt to change and a willingness to bring the very best to the team.
Lots of energy and a great team spirit are a must.
