JOB SUMMARY
: The Manager of Website Optimization will be responsible for partnering with internal, external and vendor teams to create an unparalleled guest experience that optimizes guest engagement and drives conversion rates for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and Universal Studios Hollywood. Responsibilities will include project management, strategy development, cross-functional team leadership, vendor/intern/contractor supervision, analysis and optimization of customer experience.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take necessary actions to remediate the errors and friction points. Steps may require working with designers, legal team, digital content producers, vendors and more.
Oversee the coordination of internal and external teams to ensure that the website optimization program continues to launch improvements to the digital properties at the quality and velocity determined by the business.
Regularly monitor digital properties and tools for errors and guest friction points.
Review optimization intakes and make recommendations on priority for the web optimization team.
Regularly review available results in order to make educated and data driven decisions to move the business forward. Available results include, but are not limited to: Web Analytics
Heat mapping/Session Recording Tool
Guest Surveys
Guest Feedback
Assist in the administration of new site or store enhancements as necessary. This could include, but is not limited to concept generation, providing data support, writing user stories, coordination with business partners, UAT, reporting and analysis of actual impact.
Conduct competitive benchmarking, analysis, and monitoring.
Inspire, lead and grow team members by living into the UO M&S Culture, helping them to solve/eliminate barriers and empowering them to learn and stretch.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Advertising is required. Master's degree is a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
5 years eCommerce marketing experience with:
Ability to make website/mobile UX and business improvement recommendations based on analytics and customer feedback.
Proficient with online ecommerce and direct marketing techniques e.g. delivering relevant content / offers based on business rules and/or guest value.
Excellent client service and problem-solving skills, able to identify and anticipate both opportunities and problems and drive them to resolution
Able to articulate best practices and innovative ideas for serving consumers with relevant dynamic content based on segmentation opportunities.
Skilled at A/B/Mvt testing with a strong sense for understanding and interpreting data. Familiar with statistical measures.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to explain technical concepts to marketers and other stakeholders. Proven ability to develop presentations and present concepts and/or business recommendations clearly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint experience is a plus.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations.
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills.
Practical knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) publishing as well as website analytics tools is preferred.
Project management or business analysis experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target or Content Management System is a plus.
