The Manager, Media supports the Director, Media in driving all facets of media strategy, planning and execution, with strong focus on digital and the emerging technology space.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with media director to drive all facets of media strategy, planning and execution across North America business divisions (including e-commerce, retail, wholesale, licensees, Adaptive), with a focus on digital and the emerging technology space
  • Collaborate with global media team on overall strategy and campaign alignment
  • Lead media planning aspects including timelines, briefing and execution with agency partners
  • Be main contact for all day-to day activity with our media agency, ensuring all deliverables are being managed and plans are on strategy 
  • Lead reporting and analytics with media agency to drive increased ROAS and consideration lift for the overall Tommy Hilfiger business and communicate results to leadership
  • Lead creative development for all campaigns in collaboration with Media Account Planner who will be the main contact with the studio, advertising team and digital creative agency
    • Identify assets needed for each campaign/initiative and communicate to relevant team(s) in a timely manner for on-time delivery and launch
    • Develop timelines and workflows for media deliverables - navigating internal approvals, ad trafficking and ad approvals
  • Collaborate with Media Account Planner to manage budget, ensuring accurate monthly estimates, accruals and forecasting 
  • Partner with greater marketing team to ensure alignment of all paid media campaigns and initiatives to the larger global  / seasonal strategy
  • Position self as the media thought-leader and drive expertise / knowledge across the greater organization
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior management, internal stakeholders, licensee partners, agencies, and vendors  
  • Supervise and mentor Media Account Planner and oversee seasonal intern program
  • Meet with media vendors to stay on top of new technologies, the latest offerings and opportunities for the brand; exploring innovative and out of the box thinking with respect to new ideas/programs/initiatives

LATAM Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with teams in Mexico, Panama and Brazil
  • Provide strategy and seasonal guidance
  • Work closely with LATAM teams on media and social creative needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in Media Planning and Buying         
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively                 
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
  • Experience working with large cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Problem solver
  • Strong relationship builder / collaborative approach
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and budgets
  • Must be able to work both as a team member and independently
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and/or ad hoc projects
  • Position is based in our NYC office; ability to work remotely, if needed
