Responsibilities
The Marketing Specialist position is responsible for working with key **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Group stakeholders, internally and externally, to market and increase national sales of the television & digital properties within the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Group division of NBCUniversal.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monetization
• Sales Collateral and Materials: Work with Manager in developing and maintaining the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Group portfolio sales materials for all properties (**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. on broadcast, Golf Channel, Telemundo Deportes, Universo, CNBC/USA all respective Digital/Social channels): sales presentations (generic and customized by brand), one-sheets (i.e. research-based highlights, program overviews), online media kit, email blasts, client-direct mailers, event/hospitality collateral, etc.
• Results, Reporting and Renewals: Support pre & post-sell process for the Ad Sales team (building collateral during the pre-sell process, working on recap presentations for the post-sell process); Work collaboratively with counterparts across Sales to refine and enhance Ad Sales communication for the Sports vertical.
• Hospitality & Events: Assist in event management (ideation, venue exploration, creation/design of branding, list management & day-of execution) in collaboration with Sales, and oftentimes Corporate Events, for one-of-a-kind events plus hospitality at sports events to help Sales strengthen their relationships with key client attendees
Internal Commercialization
• Communication/Facilitation: Support the Manager on inbound marketing requests across the NBCSG and NBCU portfolio and liaise with all appropriate internal groups (Creative Partnerships, Consumer/Trade Marketing, Research, Sales, etc.) to facilitate efficient and transparent communication â€'' all in an effort to maintain accurate information and positioning of NBCSG and its sports properties within the organization

Qualifications
• Prefer 3 years of experience or 2 internships with an agency, advertising client or media company within a sales organization environment, where the individual was responsible for the development of presentations and/or sponsorship, creative, promotional materials
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience

Desired Characteristics
• Excellent oral and written skills
• A comprehensive understanding and familiarity using the entire suite of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and/or Illustrator experience is highly regarded)
• General design skills and innovation in creativity utilizing PowerPoint and Photoshop/Illustrator (e.g., ability to create assets within a given template/style guide)
• General understanding of advertising marketplace across various platforms (on-air, digital, social)
• Experience in media marketing and the advertising sales process
• Strong interpersonal skills (i.e., ability and comfort interacting with all levels of management in a positive, effective manner)
• Strong organizational, project and event management skills
• A detail-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research tools â€'' the standard media measurement and research tools (Nielsen, MRI, Simmons, comScore, Adobe Analytics, custom research studies, etc.) and ability to derive insights and craft sales stories based on relevant data
