Advertising Director Jobs description
As part of an advertising agency's middle management, the advertising director is responsible for the strategic management and execution of all advertising programs and search engine optimization strategies; directing the creation and execution of online advertising, search advertising, and direct email campaigns; and closing direct and indirect advertising deals that result in the achievement of revenue goals.An advertising director works with managers to successfully implement overall strategic plans. He or she ensures that companies' advertising programs run successfully in order to increase sales, which is the only way corporations can survive in the market.
Advertising director job openings may be available with advertising agencies, multinational corporations, or online marketing companies. A bachelor's degree in advertising or marketing is essential, as are strong experience and expertise in advertising and marketing. The most looked-for traits in an advertising director are project management skills, relationship and resource management skills, and brand management skills.
