Ad Agency Adds New Clients and Expands Staff
Advertising agency Creative Civilization has hired new employees for the firm's creative, account services, and public relations departments in order to keep up with the company's growth. According to the 2006 list of top-advertising firms by San Antonio Business Journal, Creative Civilization had 32 people in its advertising staff. The ad agency founded in 1999 provides research, account management, media planning, and other marketing strategies. The agency's client list includes the NBA Championship San Antonio Spurs, CPS Energy, and City Reach Latino.



EyeWonder Launches AdWonder 9.0 Flash Component to Support Adobe Flash CS3 Professional
EyeWonder, Inc. has launched AdWonder 9.0 Flash Component, the latest version of its video and rich media advertising authoring tool. EyeWonder, with the launch of AdWonder, has become the first Adobe solutions partner to assist the advertising community. Using the Adobe Flash CS3 professional, the AdWonder 9.0 manages distribution of video advertisements. Agency creative personnel will now have the access to build, design, preview, test, and approve EyeWonder rich media and video ad unit without leaving the Adobe Flash environment. It will now be useful in reducing the time required to deliver traffic-ready video and rich media ads. EyeWonder Inc., headquartered in Atlanta, focuses on rich media and digital video's innovations, helping brands and advertisers produce the strongest interactive ad campaigns.

EBay launch U.S. site for classifieds
EBay Inc., a San Jose, CA, based online-auction company, has started a free classified-advertising site in the U.S. The site caters to users in more than two dozen countries by allowing them to buy and sell goods and services difficult or impossible to ship or sell on eBay. EBay's classified site in the U.S., launched last Friday, covers 220 cities across 50 states, and the categories include "lost and found," "pet adoption," "apartments for rent," and "garage sales." The U.S. free online-classified market is currently dominated by San Francisco-based Craigslist.org, which gets more than 7 billion page views per month.
